Curt Steinhorst, Distraction Expert

On a mission to help today’s workforce win the battle against distractions, Curt has spent years studying the impact of tech on human behaviour. He now equips professionals across the world to work smarter and stronger in this constantly-connected age.

As a business owner, entrepreneur, and founder of FocusWise, Curt sees how lack of focus impacts today’s workplace and its leaders. Curt’s fascination with distraction is not simply professional. Diagnosed with ADD as a child, he’s worked tirelessly to overcome the unique distractions that today’s technology creates. As a father, Curt understands how profoundly digital connectivity is transforming people of every age.


Jeph Maystruck, Strategy Lab

Jeph has an utter disregard for the status quo, for the past 9 years he has been disrupting the marketing industry in Western Canada. He gives keynotes regularly on a variety of topics, hands out lottery tickets daily, and runs a marketing company out of Regina called Strategy Lab. Jeph has had the pleasure of working with organizations such as the Regina Police Service, Carmichael Outreach, Gentle Teaching International, and teaches social media marketing at the University of Regina.

Other than marketing, his real passion is coaching volleyball. He cofounded “Big Idea Camp” (a Summer Entrepreneurship camp for highschool students) and has inspiringly funny business cards.


Shanan Spencer-Brown, Executive Director, Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

Shanan Spencer-Brown is the Executive Director of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to supporting women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. In this role, Shanan leads a dynamic, national corporate charity that has raised more than $24 million through the generous support of Royal LePage professionals who make commission donations, organize fundraising events and take part in other charitable initiatives like the recent Iceland Challenge for Shelter. In her spare time, Shanan enjoys hiking, traveling and watching way too much Netflix. She is also an active volunteer with several charities focused on health and social issues and international development.





Mike Wrobel, Manager, Learning Services, Royal LePage Real Estate Services / Brookfield Real Estate Services, Inc.

Mike joined Royal LePage in 2009 and was quickly put in charge of developing the curriculum for the Learning Services team where he developed curriculum that covered topics such as Cross-Generational Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and deep dives into Social Media.  Prior to taking over as Manager of Learning Services, Mike worked with a variety of Royal LePage’s vendors managing the Marketing Centre, Red Market, ClientClick and Royal LePage CRM.

Mike is passionate about technology and finding new and innovative ways that technology can keep us connected.  In his downtime Mike does Improv with Second City, plays the drums and is a hobbyist photographer not to mention spending time with his family.
