Located along the shore of beautiful Okanagan Lake in the Okanagan Valley, the Penticton Lakeside Resort and Convention Centre is hosting 2009 Headstart. We'll be using the resort's great conference facilities for our daily activities and delegates will have time to explore some the rest of the resort throughout their stays.

Staying Connected with Larry Lipman and Tom Heck

Staying Connected introduces our delegates to a number of great activities that focus on techniques that develop communication skills, leadership qualities, inspirational and motivational techniques, and much more! Presenters Larry Lipman and Tom Heck will draw on their wealth of knowledge to keep Headstart delegates focused and entertained during their sessions in Penticton.

Larry Lipman. Returning for an encore in 2009 after a very successful engagement at Headstart 2005, Larry Lipman is presenting a program called Fun Team Building. Larry's seminars are a perfect match with Headstart's philosophy and all delegates who make the trip to Penticton should be prepared for an exciting and rewarding experiece.

Tom Heck. Tom Heck is a teamwork coach, entrepreneur, speaker, and author whose passion is teaching team and leadership skills through experiential activities. His popular e-book, Team Activities on a Shoestring has been downloaded over 40,000 times by people from over a hundred different nations. Welcome back March Hare!!!!!

Dan Hare and the March Hare Band performed at Headstart Tigh-Na-Mara in 2007 and, given the fantastic response from our delegates there, we are delighted to welcome the band back to perform at our closing banquet on Friday night.

March Hare is an extremely colourful, polished, and energetic group that performs hit songs by artists like The Cars, No Doubt, Madonna, Paul McCartney and more! Complete with lights, smoke machines, and the sounds of the sixties, seventies, eighties, and nineties, they'll have the room rockin'! Bring your dancing shoes!
