Wednesday, 23 September 2009 (Afternoon - optional activities)

Golf : Penticton Golf and Country Club

• Penticton Golf and Country Club is about five minutes away from the Lakeside Resort and Conference Centre. Shotgun start, stroke play begins at 1pm sharp! Prizes will be awarded at the Headstart Luau dinner event (at the Lakeside Inn).
  Prize and hole sponsorships are available for this event; contact Michael Trites or Pat Vale for more information.
• Note: This is a flat, walkable course, but if you need a cart or club rental, contact Penticton Golf and Country Club directly (250-492-8727).

Okanagan Winery Tours

• We are offering two different winery tours to Headstart 2009 delegates. The two tours are divided into 'North' and 'South', and delegates select their preferred itinerary when registering. Both tours depart from the Lakeside Inn parking lot on Wednesday morning at 9:30am and 10:30am (23 September), returning between 3:00pm and 4:00pm. Tour participants will in hosted mini-buses of up to 25 per bus to area wineries, with a box lunch at a predetermined location included in the package.

Haw-r-ya Hawaiian Luau HEADSTART Kickoff Party, presented by Royal LePage Kelowna!

• A chance to say hello, "How are You" to everyone you met at HEADSTART - Tigh-Na-Mara 2007! Plenty of time to socialize, reminisce and get up to speed on the past two years. Enjoy a cocktail then on to the Royal LePage Kelowna Luau with a pig roast, live entertainment, events and games to get you in the mood for the coming 2 days of HEADSTART '09!

Thursday and Friday, 24-25 September 2009

There are no "long seminar / speaker sessions" at Headstart events. There will be a casual theme from start to finish, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are included both for Thursday and Friday.
